Looks pretty sweet....
I am sure you have your reasonings, but a friend of mine mounted his coil-overs the same way you did on his competition rig....both mounts perpendicular to the front of the truck (as in the bolts run front to back). He had a problem with both being the same way because when the rig would flex the mount would break because the axle will actually "pull back under the truck" obviously not much but it does because of the path the links make the axle "pull in". Just curious if you knew this or you had planed this and it has a "Johny Joint" mount in which the bolt will actually rotate like a ball and socket type movement.
Other than that the truck looks awesome, wish my truck had coilovers instead of the coils I have know.

Your truck look sweet man. i have done the same to my truck and have learned some things that will help you. You might want to move your coilover mount on the upper hoop 90 degrees. The bending forces might shear the bracket right off the hoop. Also you will either want to connect the left and right hoop together or have a third mounting point on the frame. You might have one but i can not see it in the pics. The forces might be too much and bend the hoop like it was nothing. Since you are going to offroad it I would look into these changes. I am glad to see other people doing the conversion. Where are you from. You say that you go to pismo, so do you live near by? have you seen my blue dakota dribing around SLO? Your Dak's are both friggin sweet and they look so friggin much better than my IFS lift! Not to mention the ability to go high enough for 37's or 38's and look in proportion to the overall size of our Dak's, 44's may look strange with the lift needed to fit'em.
Only 16 more payments on my Dak and I think I will be going SAS. Wish someone made a kit as I don't have the experience and there is not much in NY for custom off-road shops. I'll just have to probably muddle my way through using everyone elses pointers/recommendations that I have been taking notes on for the last 6 months.

bluedak....truck LOOKSs sweet, but i don't understand why you wouldn't us heim joints instead of rod ends and zerk fittings....you have no articulation...i have a full engine cage for my kings, but yeah i'd be down to mob at pismo, i live in buellton...i've heard of you truck, did you use a dana 44 and 9" rear or what?? whats ur set up entail???

I used a combination of heim joints and Rubicon Express joints for the linkages. Where did you get the idea that I used rod ends and zerk fittings Trust me when I say thaI have tons of articulation. Hey Perpetrate and forexfor when is the next time you are going to Pismo? I can't wait to everyones trucks

we were at pisom last year with a group of daks and one of our trucks pulled you out over by comp hill....sweet looking truck...
