I have a 97 Dakota 4x4 and I'd like to put a winch on the front but I cant seem to find any mounting systems. I'd like to use a front bumper/grill gaurd/winch mount combo. Anyone know of anything?

I have not done too much research for a winch grill guard, but I know they lake them, try Warn. As for me, I am planning on installing a front receiver for my dakota, that way I will be able to use the winch on the front or back. I will just have to do wirting for the front and back for it.

Warn makes them for the Dakota. Hanson (www.hansonenterprise.com) makes a replacement winch compatible bumper for the Dak. Nice bumper with highlift jacking slots, grille guard, and other nice options.

Holy crap Hanson's bumpers are expensive. I didnt realize bumpers like that were so much.

Yeah they are, but it seems that they are worth the cost for all the cool features and the toughness compared to the pitiful oem bumpers
