i'm in the market for some new tires for my 2003 4x4. The suspension is stock so i can't go much bigger. We are starting to get more and more snow up here. What does everyone recommend for a tires that is suited for snow and all-terrain during the warmer months?

MT/R's or if that's too expensive, then BFG's MT. Can't
go wrong with a set of mud terrains!

I just got a set of the bridgestone dueler AT revo.
I live in Tahoe CA and they are great in the snow so far. I had a set of the bfg AT's and they just got packed with snow and made them worthless. Which actually caused me to hit a phone pole. I was looking for a new set of tires and was told that Mud tires are not good for snow at all because they pack snow because of the solid tread. And the revo tread flexs to dissplace the snow so your tires do not turn into slicks.

I live in some serious winter conditions and have never
had trouble in snow with MT's. But I have never owned
a set of AT's.

I've been plowing snow for many years and wouldn't consider anything but BFG AT's in the winter. I wonder if dak93 was running tires that were too wide for snow use ?

I have a set of Yokohama Geolandar AT+II of the 31x10.50 variety. They have been wonderful as far as highway noise/vibration (pretty non-existent), offroad/mud use, as well as in the snow. I saw a fair amount in St. Louis the past year too. The tires just have a good more unique look to them tooo. Cant go wrong with the price either.

Cooper Discoverer STT 265/75 R16.

Replaced the stockers with these after I slid into a parked truck. Haven't had a problem in rain or snow since.
