i have a 87 2wd dakota the front end sits lower than the front by about and inch or so i was wondering since my trucks is a v6 (and i think the springs are saggin a lil bit) if i could put like a 88' v8 springs in there place and if it would put the front of my truck back up to level w/ the rear let me know yalls opinions on doin this

Hey man, I don't know about that, It does sound like a good Idea though. I went to the junkyard and got some front coils off of a V8 Ram and slapped them on my dak. It got me about 3/4". For 12 dollars it was almost worth it.

Another idea you could try is cheap coil spacers from AutoZone. Your truck has thin isolator disks between the coils and frame. The coil spacers at auto Zone are only 12 dollars a set. Gives you 1 1/2 inch. The only problem is.. Taking out those coils are a B***H.

which kind are you talkin about the doughnuts or the the lil polyurethan ones that just go in between the coils b/c i put the poly ones in on a jeep cherokee w/ a 4ft pipe and a 4lb hammer in my driveway for a friend. but i dont like them b/c when you "air out" the can pop out
