Matt, I dont know exactly why it looks like that but ALL Baja trucks are setup like that. I'm sure there is a reason for it. Probably nose dive clearence or something.

Message: I agree with Matt. They either need to go down a couple tire sizes and lower the front or level the rear with the front. Me and my cousin were cruisin' in my Dakota last weekend and we noticed that about half of the really lifted trucks that were running anywhere from 38's to 44's sat higher in the front. They just didn't look right. The ones that really looked good were the ones that sat level or had a little rake. Personally, I like a little rake because I've always had hot-rod Mopar cars with rakes. A friend gave me a lift kit for a 1988 Dodge 150 that made the front sit higher than the rear so I took off the front springs rather than raise the rear more. I ended up just using add-a-leafs for the front because of money issues and I had already bought my 33-12.50's. The front springs I had on there would have cleared at least 36's, but it wouldn't look right having the front end
higher. I still had plenty of clearance with the 33's being that the suspension couldn't travel far enough to make 'em rub. I like the fact that the baja looking Dakota we're talking about is running that tall a tire, but I agree it doesn't look right higher in the front. Not only does it not look right, but you can't see as good over the hood that way. Higher in the rear is is better for visibility but cuts down on your front clearance. It's a whole lot easier to run over a Honda if you can't see past the hood.

Message: well, that guy has nitrogen shocks so if he wants to change any of the wheel heights, he just has to let some gas out or pump more in. you can see the resivoir just behind the tires. Steve

Message: you don't give up IFS for a solid axle on a 'race truck.' That thing was built for rock crawling with Dana60's, long arms and coil overs to provide that much articulation.
...thing is, somthing that pretty with a total lack of skid plates probably never crawls over anything larger then the curbs in all the shopping mall parking lots it sees.
