Message: 4x4 with 4.7
Completely stock right now with 3.55 gears.
Anyone know where a set of 4.30s front and rear might be found?
Factory limited slips any good, or should I try a PowerTrax?
If I could find a used set of 3.92s front and rear, in good shape, I would be interested in them too.
Any power mods for the newer '02 versions yet? Air Intakes?
Any benefit, besides sound to an exhaust upgrade?
Also, thinking about the 260 HO 4.7 from jeep intake manifold. Is it worth it?
What about the cams? to ratty for a heavy truck?
Thanks.

Message: hey hows it goin ? well if i was you i'd go with the 3.92 gears , cause ya get the torque and still does ok for highway driven. I also have the 3.55 gears and if i was to go to 3.92 , at 80mph theres only 200-300 rpm difference(please correct me if im wrong). As for in takes , get a K@n Fipk(Fuel Injection Performance Kit) helps alot!! lets the motor gulp all the air it wants . and as for exhaust, get a high flow muffer! that helps also ... plus your dak will be loud hehe. i got duals on my dak and goin down hills i slip her in 2nd and she back fires real loud i love it.
