Message: I just bought a used Manik for my 1998 Dak from "Devious." Haven't had any experience with any of the others...truthfully went with this one cause I got a great deal, but I will say that it's very sturdy and looks nice. I even have the fiberglass Glassworks fenders mounted and the wrap-around headlight guards clear the flared fenders no prob.
Sorry I can't say anything about the other brands, but I like the Manik so far.

Message: I have a Warn transformer on mine. The nice thing is if you wanna adda winch later on you can. Most brushguards cant. Little more expensive than a normal brush guard but if you plan for a winch later its worth it.
Im thinking of selling mine cause I dont use the winch anymore. ( too much work not enough time to 4 wheel

Message: If I remember right the whole thing was close to 600 including tax. I know the winch and bush guard together were 1200$ the winch was 630 at the time
so somewhewre around 600. it should fit a 99 no problem if its a 4x4. i dont know if a 2 wheel drive has the same frame horns

Message: Uhh, Rick5?...Since his last post was 8 years ago (Nov 2003) and I don't remember him posting anything recently, I'm going to take a stab at this and guess that it was likely from his local Dodge Dealer...8 years ago. That's not to say your dealer cannot still get you one, just that once an american vehicle reaches the majical 10 year mark, the mfg's. tend to quick producing parts. You won't know until you go in to your local Dodge Dealer and ask the parts man. Good luck!
