Subject: 1993 Dakota sport 2wd lift IP: Logged
Message: hey all, i just got a 1993 dodge dakota sport 2WD 3.9l V6, it is my second car and i wanna lift it but, i have found there is no aftermarket for my truck, i basicly jsut want a spindle lift at this point, i wanna stay clear of body lifts, cause i dont like they way they look and i am also looking for a little bit more performance, if you know of any thing out there to lift it up let me know please. Oh and i also looked into spring spacers but i mean in todays society you get what you pay for and paying 12 dollars for a spring spacer lift is not saying much. but anyways, thanks for the help

Message: First off, they don't make a spindle lift for our trucks (yet). You have a couple of other choices though: Body lift, longer coils and finally, coil spacers. Body lift for your truck is the cheapest way to go (the 4x4 body lift will work on your truck) you can get 2 or 3 inches. Longer coil springs: Aim industries makes them i am not sure of the amount of lift you get though. You can also get the coils off of a 2 wheel drive Ram, but that will only add 3/4 of an inch. Coil spring spacers will add up to 3 inches. Daystar makes those spacers. You can get those at many places. Just remember, If you go any higher than a 3 inch suspension lift, you will need longer A-arms.
