Message: Hey Guys,
Guess we got Florida covered North to South.
I'm in No. Miami and only get off-road in the Everglades.
Been looking into the off-road areas in Big Cypress but haven't made the trip yet.
Supposed to be nice but lots of talk about cutting down the size of the area for the ecology.
Anyway, info at:
Big Cypress National Preserve
HCR 61 Box 11
Ochopee, FL 34141

A permit is required. To get a permit you must take your vehicle to the visitor
center to be inspected. Your 4x4 must meet certain requirements in order to
receive a permit. Please contact 941-695-4111 to receive a pamphlet on OHV
rules and regulations for more information.

Message: Hey I live in Citrus county which is about an hour and a half north of tampa. I go mudding on the weekends all the time. We have close to twenty big holes around the county. I have an 89 dakota bright orange with a green undercarraige, with 36 inch ground hawgs, KC daylighters, toolbox, bedrails, lots of others. It only has the 3.9 liter but it turns it's tires pretty well. If somebody is in the area i would love to take them out and show them the central florida mud. I also have a toyota on 35's and a postal jeep on 40's that i mud frequently. I will post some pics of the dodge soon.

Message: Hawkeye, you're right, it's just down the road from my house. If you ever go to visit your family, don't blink when you get to town, or else you'll miss it.
Some people call that part of Florida LA.....Lower Alabama....

Message: We have been there quite a bit. Yeah, you dont blink at all. Have to let you know next time we will be over that way. Over here in Jacksonville we are know as LG, lower Georgia. If you took everyone out of northeast Fl that was from GA, there would not be hardly anyone left.
