Wheel diameter has very little bearing on fit. You need to measure tire diameter, tire cross section width, and wheel offset. You could use a 13" or a 22" wheel as long as the other measurements were pretty close to the same.

Dont listen to a word .boB says.
The reason you can fit 15's is because up until 2001 the disc brake diameter was smaller. The 2002 models have a larger disc brake and therefor can not run 15" rims. They have a 16" minimum.

Thanks for the replies, I'm trading another dak owner my 16's for his 15's,just wanted to make sure they would work.
