You could put a lift kit in it, some big tires, a locker in the rear and make a pre-runner out of it. The guys that run the Baja in the those 250,000.00 Trophy Trucks are 2WD. Good Luck

Hey throttle, most of the trucks are 2wd, but not all. Some of them prefer the 4x4 setup, I would assume for traction purposes. The problem with a 4x4 is the heavier weight in the front ends which usually translates into extra flat tires on the front.
Some of the buggies are 4x4 models. Not all though. Most vehicals are 2wd.
