hey brandon i'm at fort bragg also. my dak is inmistaksble (sp?). it's a black 1998 club cab 2wd that's lifted, and it's the only dak in the fayettevam area that has fiberglass prerunner fenders on it. it's use to have a bar and skid plate on it, but it's gone cuase my wife wrecked it. i've also got the "performance offroad" sticker on the back window. when i get back from afgan country (where i'm at right now)it's getting the whole front end ripped out and i'm getting the kit fom ORC motorsports (www.orcmotorsports.com) installed.

I havent found a whole lot of places around Fort Bragg, but Fort Bragg it self......Shot me an email when you want to go hit the trails, I have a CJ5 that i do most of the 4x4in in but i want to get the tires of my jeep and put them on my dakota when i lift it, hit me up

I've created a monster.Didn't know there was so many NCer's around .Since my last post i got rid of the Gibson rattling muffler for a Magnaflow,and now the check engine light just stays on.Did someboby say they needed a body lift installed.I did my 2" in my driveway with no problems.Let me know if you want some help if you havn't got it done already.Also, I put my 3" Rancho lift on in the driveway If anyone needs help.Lift arn't that hard to install just time consuming.

This is the Asheville Dak owner again. I've been thinking of trading my 01 Dak for an 01 Ram for the size. Then I started thinking. I see A LOT of Daks on the road around the Asheville, N.C. area, but I can count the number of lifted ones on one hand.(gen III) And that's in the last two years. Trust me, I hardly ever miss seeing a Ram or Dak on the road. I see lifted Rams all the time. The lifted Daks I've seen just looked awesome. I guess if I really want to be different I should lift the Dak and get 35's on it. The only other FOUR I've seen have had 32's and 33's.

hey bigtmer, i'm game for meeting up but it's going to have to wait till mid to later Jan or even earlier Fab. so that way i can get back and get settled in. oh update on my dak (just FYI): (hopfully) i should get enough back from tax return and it's getting paid off so i can put it up on blocks. (here’s the kicker) i should be able to buy Bajadak's truck ( shown here http://dtw.truckmoxie.com/mygallery.ten?id=3716 ). so i can start on my dak creation. oh and Brandon there are places that u can go 4wheeling at around bragg, u just have to look harder, and with your cj5 were you ever with that club Carolina Jeepsters? hey bigtymer thanks for the compliment, but it looks worst when your able to really look at it, but thanks anyways. did you ever see my truck when i had my Carolina Kotas sticker on the rear window? becuase i was trying to start up a club that never lifted off. i sunk some money into it because people said that they were going to join then they never did. so if everyone would want to start a club or a chapter in NC it would have to be someone besides me. oh FYI for all when i get back to the states i should have a set (4) of HMMV tires (37x12.50R16.5) for sale if anyone that has a big enough lift for them.

Prerunnerdak,are those tires Goodyear MT or RT.What % of tread.Theres a place out side of Bragg that gets all of there scrap tires,good or dad,and they sell them for scrap cost.I'd only be willing to give you $50 for all four depending on condition.These would be for a 83 GMC 4x4 beater Im trying to liberate from its owner.It already has a set of GY 16.5x37 MTs on it so these would be spares.Also,I found a 78/79 Ford Bronco for $600 that still runs w/ 4.10:1 gears ,44 front and 9" rear.Needless to say I,m going to straight axle my dodge next fall after the GMC project.
