Subject: IAS Shocks with 2wd Lift IP: Logged
Message: Thinking about replacing my front springs with fabtech coil springs to help level out my truck and want to replace the shocks along with it because they are shot.
Anyways, was thinking about putting Edelbrock IAS Performers on and was wondering if the ones for 2wd Quad Cabs would have any problem up front with the extra lift the new coil springs would provide.

Message: I had wondered this myself and had contacted Edelbrock and according to them you will damage the shock (leaking or it could even snap) or the vehicle and the handling may be dangerous.

Message: Well, what shocks should I use with a Fabtech 2" lift? I know fabtech makes shocks but I have not heard anything good about them.

Message: Rancho makes them. Not sure where to find them but I know they are out there.
Wouldn't want any other!
