I was thinking of buying the Trxus MTs 34x12.5r16. I read on V8Lum,s post "Got me some 35s" he only had rubbing on the frame at full lock with 35s and only a body lift. My friend has 33s on his dak with the 3in body lift and and stock rims and they look great but it looks like he has too much wheel well space. It looks like he could fit 35s with a little more trimming. I figured 34s would be a happy medium. Just looking to see if anyone has any imput on these tires or setup.

Dude I have an 2003 club cab 4x4. Put the 3" body lift, cranked about 1.5-2" on the torrsion bars. I had the tire shop try on 33x12.5 trxus. They looked way to small. So I had them put on some 315/75R16's, basically a 35" x 12". They fit great! I just have to trim some plastic on the inside front wheel wells, both in the front and the back. Not much at all really, probably take about 5 mins. But they look so much better!!!!I am really pleased with the look, and it sits higher then a full size dodge on 33's!

Most likely for on road only. Looks only!
Doubt he is flexin with 315x75x16's but who knows. We have been told this by a few but never seen it nor will they show to a meet.

I have those tires on my Dak, but i have a TS 4.5" lift. i have minor rubbing when flexed and full turn. The tires work awesome in the snow, mud and on the rock. Just remember to deflate some on the rocks. But other than that The tires ar nice and they look nice. More people look at my tires than at my truck at stop lights. To look at my truck go to

Thanks Chad. Did you have to trim any plastic with that lift, and is that the only lift you have on? Cause if you add 2in blocks to the rear and 1.5 in bar lift in the front on a 3in body lift then that pretty much equals a 4.5in lift right? Im sure im overlooking something or maybe wishfull thinking.

i went 35's like a week after v8lum did. i didnt do anymore trimming than what i had already done for my 33's. ive just got 3 inch body and tb's cranked. so yeah, 34's will work with out a doubt. post some pics soon. peace!
