Hey is this the only prefab Lift kit available for gen II Dakota 4x4's? 1395.00 seems a bit high for only 4 inches.
I have 95 Slt Club Cab 4x4 with the 3.9l 6 and I have been looking for a lift kit for it for some time now and this seems to be the only one. Could I just use parts from other kits? I am alot thinking of putting dual shocks on each tire.
Anyways I have a pile mods allready on the truck and paint and suspension are the last things on the list and I don't really feel like shelling out 1400 for 4 inches when my paint is gonna cost 3000-3500. If anyone knows a better kit or parts I can use from others left me know.
K&N Filter Booster Air Intake, Jet Performance Module, Gibon Race Headers, Gibon Cat back exaust, 120amp alternator, underdrive pully system, Tornado, Grizzly Double Roll bar, 2 hella 220 watt jumbo 6x9 Flood Lamps (on the bar), 2 Focus 60 watt Artic Blue fog lamps in the grill, Full coustom speaker box where the back seat was. 1 800watt 4 channel Rockford Fosgate 800a4, 1 250watt 2 channel Rockford Fosgate 250a2, 2 Rockford Fosgate HE2 12" dual coil woofers (800 peak 400 rms) Boston 5t Neo tweeker with crossovers, Rockford Fosgate Fanatic compent system, all in a coustom box made to fit the back of cab. Did it all my self other then chip and computer stuff.
White and silver. Going to paint it high gloss black and metalic black and put my hood scoops on once it gets to the shop.

Message: Zenmuron,
Compare that price to the other IFS kits (ie. Toys, Nissans, GMs) and you will see that it is in the ball park (Not that I agree with it $$). I got mine from Desert Rat for $1,119 last year. It was in their online "Garage Sale". Turns out it had been opened and was missing 2 bolts! Maybe they can do you a little better.
Sounds like you have done quite a few mod$ already. What's another $1400? That paint job, now that's another story($3000-$3500)!
Is your rig currently painted like mine? See post below.

Message: No mine is the silver and white two tone with the red stripe and it is flaking bad.
I am going to paint it high gloss black on the body and below the flairing will be high gloss metalic black. I will probly put some runic tribal patten down the sides and maybe wrap the hood and scoops.(In metalic black) Still it is going to be an ordeal and I think I might sand and paint it my self and then take it to a shop to have the decals and clear coat done. Then I can afford that 1400 trail master.
Nice work on the Pre Runner bar. Wanna make me one too :).

Message: Just FYI Trailmaster no longer "stocks" the kit due to lack of demand. It has to be special ordered 4-6 weeks. Last I checked there was only 1 kit left in the country.Trust me, I called 7 different retailers, no one has it in stock except for Louisville 4x4 they showed 1 in their warehouse
