hey i have a 2001 dakota 4x4 and i was wondering if i put a 3" body lift on it could i have a enough room to fit 33/11.50x16 thornbirds on factory wheels or would there be to much rubbing

You'd have no problem height wise, but with stock wheels I'd think you'd have a frame rub issue even with the 11.5's. No way to tell for sure without fitting them on there an testing it. If you had a wheel with a shorter backspace, you'd have no problems at all, but if you did that, you may as well run 33x12.5, unless you need the narrow tire for snow. My .02

I own a 2000 Quad w/ Stock lift and i fitted with no trouble a set of bfg muds 33x9.5 on a 15 inch rim. When i leveled the truck I then installed a set of 35 bfg all-terrains with no trouble( the vehicle sees alot of off camber situations loaded up as well)

So you`re trying to tell us that you put 35s under your stock (torsion bars adjusted an inch or two) Dakota with no rubbing.....Yea right ?!
