Subject: tire rub advise...?

Message:
i own a gen II 96 dak 4x4 w/ 5.2 ext cab. i'm going to be installing a 2" body lift and wanted to know how big i could go with tires on the stock rims with minimal rubbing offroad. i can accept any amount of rubbing as long as it doesn't tear up any tires or chew up my fenders. i heard i could get away with 33" tires and was pretty pumped, but i was hoping somebody with a litle more experience could help me out. i don't want to crank my torsion bar at all, just add the body lift. would i be able to fit 33" tall or have to stick with a 32" or 31" even?

I think 31s is what youll be lookin at. If you want minimal rubbing off road, then definitly 31s. If you get custom rims with less backspacing (stock5.5in, most aftermarket 3.75in) it will help with frame rubbing, but then it might hinder fender rubbing. And vise versa. Do a search here and get more info.
