Hi Guys,
Does anybody have a Mopar power pro 7 battery?
If so, what's your opinion.
Sounds like it's Mopar's answer to an Optima battery. I have had a red top Optima in my 91 Ramcharger and was happy with it off-road.
My question is... Is the Mopar power pro 7 just as good as an Optima?
Late!

Go to Walmart, buy yourself a 850/1000 cold cranking amp ENERGIZER battery, you won't be sorry you did. I live in north central Canada. When it gets cold, it gets profanely cold (-44F) for 2-3 weeks in a crack, around early Jan.(sometimes 3-4 cycles) The smart ones of us up here trust these batteries to start our trucks all year round, but winter is really a true test on a battery. I get about 5 years on one og these guys. It beats the hell out of paying $30.00 a hit, for a tow truck to come and boost you a couple of times a week.

Thanks, but No Thanks. I live in the Mojave Desert and cold cranking amps is not an issue. But vibration control is. I go wheelin on dusty and rough trails. So I need a battery that can take the abuse. Spiral technology is for my type of wheelin.
I love Canada, but the cold would kill me. :-)
Good Luck this winter.

If it helps any--- the Mopar batteries are made by Exide--- well, they arrive on an Exide battery truck so it would be safe to assume
