The main site for Truckin is
www.Truckinsuspension.com
Another company that does a 10" lift is Whiplash, but there has been some question if they will stay around. They are at
www.whiplashinc.com

Hi Im new here. I have a 2000 dakota 4x4. i HAVE installed 33x12.5x15 mud tires on my truck. They fit no problem. the only trimming I had to do was the lower plastic piece and all i took was abotu 1 inch off the corner and about 1 inch off the rear wheel well liner where the cab mount woudl be. the only tiem it rubbed was on a complete full turn with the wheel completely cranked. Oh these were Mud tires with big nobby sides. also You ahve to use stock 15x8 rims. You may be able to use some aftermarket ones with different offset but Im jsut letting you know what I tried and worked. I went back to the 31s cause someone offered me more $$ than what I paid ofr the tires and needed the cash. if you have 3.55s you will loose slight off the line power but nothing really noticeable more of a seat of the pants feel but that could be my imagination. It did break the rear end loose easier but I assuemd that to the wider tire

Hey Rod,
I would like to see some pictures of your wheel well trimming! Is that possible. Also, if anyone has installed the truckinsuspension.com lift and has some pictures and some feedback on performance that would also be appreciated.
Thanks Eric

Hey, I accidentaly stumbled opon this site looking for a lift for my 2002 4.7,v8 slt dakota whiplash does make a 10 inch lift for 2000-02 dakota and durango that includes shocks for $2,399 but the front drive shafts have to be extended. no other company has a lift for 01-02. Whiplash ofers a life time warrenty on all the peices in the lift from what recent advertisements have claimed you can order at 1-800-521-4908 or look in any of the four wheeler magazines from the last 4 months. Sorry I cant find the direct # for whiplash but please if any one recieves a picture of a dakota with this kit please forward it to me at hollifieldp@aol.com

Hey guys, I cranked the torsions just under an inch to give my 32" BFG's a little more room. Now I'm looking at $1500 in parts to replace the inner tie rod ends which only come from the factory and which only come with the entire steering rack. Lesson learned go for the lift instead of the half ass way.

It was not your torsion cranking it is the larger tires in conjuction with and most likely poor driving habits helped out as well. The front suspension has had a hard time with most running larger tires.

I feel I have been lucky since I have had may torsion bars cranked up all the way and I have been running 33's. I know its is gonna happen at some point but proper attention to how you are working the front tires in turns and all is alln you can do. I wheel my truck quite often and pound it pretty good.

Maybe you just got some bum original parts which has happened to allot of guys but your claim is not really true. I am really sorry to hear you got a $1500.00 bill to repair.

Only my opinion.

2000 V6 Club cab been running 33's for over a year on STOCK but I just installed the Rancho lift.

Finally tucked some 32x11.5x15 BFG AT TA KO's under my 2K quad cab 4x4. Cranked the torsion bars a few times. Looks great and drives fine so far. No rubbing. I hope she doesn't give me too much grief any time soon.
