Subject: ?27 or 29 spline No-Slip? IP: Logged
Message: I saw on summit racing's web site that Powertrax makes a 27 and 29 spline shaft for the no-slip posi-trac unit. I have a 97 dakota CC 2wd 3.9 V6 with the Chrysler 8.25 rear end. How do I know if mine is 27 or 29 splines?

Message: UWGriz is right. The 97 and newer have the 29 spline. When I was doing mine, Powertrax didn't have a 29 spline yet. I guess that's cool that they do now. I would of gone that route if they did at the time.
Wouldn't want any other!
