 Subject: CHEAP Raising Shackles

I bought 4 shackles to raise the rear of my Durango 2" They are made by Western part# 2001 on MacsSprings.com. I paid about $45 a pair including shipping but have already purchased 31" tires so decided not to raise it. I'm not sure, but they might/should work for a Dakota also, if someone could post yes/no to this I would really appreciate it. Make me an offer email please!

If you put these on the rear it should raise it right about 2" and you can torq the torsion bars in the front to raise it to match. I can find detailed dirrections if anyone is interested. This is a cheap, safe, and effective method that can be used to gain a little clearance for larger tires. No more parts are needed other than these shackles.

2WD shackle setup is different from the 4WD shackle setup.
On 4WD longer shackles will lower the rear.
On 2WD longer shackles will raise the rear.
Which is it?
