When you put a 2 and a half inch body lift on a 99 dodge dakota slt, do you have to extend the steer shaft? We are almost done with my lift, but we are worried that the steer shaft will come loose. Any tips about this?

You should be ok, I had to alter mine in order to get around my headers but I have 3" body lift and 4 suspension before I added the headers and I didn't need to alter my steering shaft. But mine is a 94.
