Well, I finally bit the bullet and installed front tow hooks on my 2000 4x4 Quad Cab. I used the bracket design from the schematics that have been floating around this board and I am very pleased with the result. The only negative was the need to do a bit of cutting on that stupid plastic front bumper skirt. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel, followed up by light sanding on the edges, and I am very pleased with the results. Cant wait to try them out! If your interested, I have posted several pics of the parts, the finished result and the original schematic.
