what rancho shocks would you all recomend for both smooth intown ride but also give a good off road performance?...there are tons of different types of rancho shocks and i need new shocks so i was lookin at the different kinds

I have and like the Rancho RSX shocks, but if you want more of a choice in your ride style then go w/ the Rancho 9000x which are adjustable.

how are your rsx in town compared to the factory mopar shocks dakotas come with? smoother or stiffer??

They are a little stiffer, but they give you alot more control or safer feeling especially going over bumps. They take nearly all of the wheel hop out that you get from the OE mushy shocks.

So you like the shocks, great cause I need to get rid of the factory shocks on my 2000 Dak Quad.
Do the rancho RSX or 9000X's give you any lift over stock mopar's. I"m hoping to get at least and inch or two.

shocks dont add any lift unless they are air shocks! Incase you are wondering about the rancho 9000s they are great. I pulled off the stock sx8000s that come with the 5.5 tuff country (that were way to stiff in the rear) and installed the rancho 9000s and sprayed them with a red pearl.

these rancho 9000's..... ive read that they dont give you any more lift, but do they provide any more travel than the stock ones? i need some shocks that provide more travel in the ass end because the stock ones dont give enough and my tires come off the ground when im completely flexed out. so let me know.....
