Message: i have thought about this quite extensively. the only way i figure is if you fabricated a new upper arm so there was more room to fit the coil through. unless you have access to a machine shop, i wouldnt think it would be cost effective.

Message: Im still doing research but so far what i find is the upper a-arm is to small of an opening, like you said, also you'd also have to build a lower a arm to move the mounting base away from the front drv shaft so that it would clear. Fox performance shox makes a 5inch travel coilover that could work, what i was thinking if you could attatch something to raise the lower shock mounting point to just above the hight of the frnt drv shaft it should clear with out much work, or attatch it to the top a-arm. The overal OD of the coilover should be around 3" or less so clearence would be that much trimming.
