 Subject: BullBar/Desert-Brush Guard measurement?

I am thinking of putting a set of bars on the snout of my 97 Dakota to protect its nose when off-road and to connect more lights to. However, I would like to continue keeping the truck in the garage. Unfortunately, no catalogs I've seen or websites list the measurements for the added length of the truck [the 'depth' of the guard/bars?]. I was wondering if those of you with some form of front guard could measure how far forward of the front bumper it sticks at its farthest, so I can make an appropriate decision about which one, or whether, to buy? I am hoping to get some ideas within a month or less, so it is not a rush. But the sooner the better. Thanks! You can either post here or email me directly at jmstr@earthlink.net
