Message: Anyone have any experience with these tires? The reviews on Tirerack.com rate them very high. I am thinkin of getting a set and would like to know if anyone has had them before. How are they on roadnoise?... handling?... treadwear?...

Message: Had em for...4 months....ditched em....got bfgoodrich mud terrains. HUGE difference. I had very little traction with the duellers because they are made with the street in mind, just a little too much. Sidewalls were very limited as well. But if you do alot of street driving, these win over the bfg's.

Message: Thanks.
Did you notice that much of a difference on the road or just in the mud?
Also what do you mean by limited sidewalls?

Message: Take a pix of bfg's and duellers...place em side by side..look at ht side of the tires near the tread...bfg's have lugs on the side that help digging out of ruts and add traction. Duelers are nearly smooth. That's one benifit of bfg's for hardcore off-roaders.
Duellers were quieter than bfg's on teh road.

Message: I have had both tires and would pick duelers over bfgs anyday. Duelers ride great on road and are awesome in the mud.

Message: whoa...been a while since i was here.
i ran those duelers for about a year on my dakota (2wd with a powertrax locker) They were pretty quiet on-road and wore down quite slow. The only negative saying i have about these tires is traction. They just don't grip as much as the bfg's do (i attempted alot of places with both tires and bfg's made them all look easy). I'm not saying they suck in traction, no, they are pretty good at grippin the goo and rocks but just not as sticky as the bfg's.
right now im running a set of futura enforcer mt's on my wrangler and all i have to say is "damn good tire".
