Message: hey all,
I have a small question. What would you all recomend for a 2wd club cab to do light to moderate off road? Part of my question pertains to the actual ability of the truck in stock form and the rest is what mods would you all suggest? Personaly I have done some off roading just not with my dak. thanks in advance

Message: You know, if you have a rear locking diff/limted slip you can go through quite a bit with the stock setup as long as you can clear the ground. Basically take it easy and dont go looking for trouble (deep mud)! When I go out to the deer lease with my Dak I rarely if ever use the 4wd. It's good to have though : ) If you dont have the rear locker/limted slip you should get that, and maybe a little lift. You dont need much though, the Dak is a great truck. I'm not a die hard off roader but thats my bit of input : ) !

Message: Bryan is right. A good LSD or locker in the rear, some good all terrain tires, and a little practice should have you going quite a few places. Only other thing would be something like a 2 or 3 inch suspension lift. Biggest thing is get to know your truck. Learn how it acts and reacts to different situations, its limitations, etc.
