To anyone else who would like to and those who e-mail me about hookups, we have a Group meet going for Pismo the weekend of 8-22-23-24. We planned this way in advance do to the size of this meet. We are hoping for a large turn out from all of our groups, Ford, Jeeps, Chevy's ETC.
I am trying to see if some other Dakota's would like to help our showing be strong.
Our usual group is going and the groups we hook up with are great people.
I will bump this from time to time as a reminder.
Sorry for those of you who look out for our meets, I have not been posting them here much since there seems to be a lack of interest.
We still wheel it once a month and if you are looking for a hook up sometime let me know.
Should be a great time with Night runs as well.

Dang, that's the worst weekend for a wheeling trip. If I skip out on my 10th anniversary my wife will kill me. Or worse, she'll kill my truck.
Maybe I can hook up with you guys some other time. My truck is about to go under the knife for the engine, trans, t-case, and straight axle swap. I hope to be done by the end of June.

Pismo Beach is just south of San Luis Obispo. 3 hours from LA.
Sorry the date does not work for you. It cant work for everyone though.
Congrats on the 10 years though!!! After a few more it just becomes another year.

hey DougP if u are getting a striaght axle swap, are gonna have ur old differential?? cuz if u are not using it and if it will fit my 99 Dak 5.2 4x4 then i wanna buy it! i blew mine out a few weeks ago and am bumming rides from everyone and need to get my truck running again! thanks...

I am down to go... I need to check out my truck cause i havent been wheelin since we did the trail maintance at hollister, but if everything is good, i will be there.....

BTW we should drive down in a caravan like we did last time, mabye meet up with more on the way down.

I should be ready to go that weekend. I will have the solid axle swap by then and will be testing the conversion out before I sell the kit. I will have all front and rear suspension and driveline parts for sale as well as a Rancho lift for 97-99 Dakotas. I can't wait to meet up with you guys.

Lets work something out so you can have the lift on by the trip. The lift will be comming off the first of July. I was looking to get around $850 for the lift. The kit is in great shape and has hardly seen the dirt. I also have 33x12.5 R15 tires that have over 50% of the tread left along with 15x8 rims. Can't wait to get this done

however i'm passing until further notice, some financial trouble kicked in. If everything resolves in a good way I'll let you know, hopefully before you sell it so I could get it, would be very nice. I'll let you know.

I got some of the one's that you launch from the tubes and are pretty cool supposidly!!!
This will be a great GTG for all of our groups. Can't wait for the night riding now!!!

I got several shells and a few tubes also and one big box that has 26 shots off of one fuse. The truck look taller on the freeway to me and will look even better with the MTs. I got my lights on my dak and rock shields on the lowers. They are pointing to low and I will have to cut some of the red plastic away to give me room to adjust them.
