Subject: who's running 15x10's IP: Logged
Message: Alright, with all this talk about backspacing, I would like to know if anyone is running Eagle 589's in a 15x10 on their truck. I'm getting 33x12.50x15's in July, and I'm trying to figure out if I should get 8" or 10" 589's. The stock rims are 15x8. I've noticed when shopping for tires, they recommend a 10" rim for 12.50 tires. I have 11.50 on 8" now. I figure the only way to find out, is to ask. Oh yeah, 3" body & gonna go 1.5" on the bar w/ 1" blocks in the back yet too.

Message: i would stay with the 15X8 even with the 12.5 wide tires. if you ever blow a bead ( lower presure when off roading) you can re seat it alot easier. also the smaller rim keeps the bead in place alot better. but just my 2 cents

Message: I run 15x10's and 31-12.50 procomp x-terrains
2wd 3inch suspension lift and a little trimming. after getting 15x10's I would never see myself getting a 15x8 inch rim.

Message: i would stay away from the AE589 15X10 with the amount of lift you have. the reason i say this is because they only have 3.8" of back space. i looked at getting a set and decides there would be just too much rubbing on the rear of the front wheel well. i am, however, running a 15X10 Weld SS. they have 4.6" of back space so they are very close to to the AE589 15X8 in how close they get to the body of my truck. they still rub a bit but i could only imagine how bad it would be if they stuck out another inch.
i'm running 33X12.5 procomp X-terrain on 15X10 Weld Super Singles, 3" PA, 2" TB crank, 2" add-a-leaf. also, the weld is a drop forged wheel instead of cast like the AE.

Does your truck not have any body lift? I'd think 31s would fit fine with a 3inch suspension lift, or was it just the width that caused rubbing?
Any change a 31x10.50 would fit on a stock 15x8 rim on a stock 2wd?

Message: I would stick to the 8's. I have a 98 Duango with 35x12.50x15 on the stock 8"wheels, plus if you go with 10" wheels you will have to replace the ball joints alot more

Message: dirty durango any pics? i'm really interested in running 35's.
Toren they due fit fine, I had to trim because of the 15x10 and because there 31 12.50 procomps true sive is 30.4 13.00 so there nice and wide.
