Message: I was wondering #1 how the lift was holding up, and #2 if you think that 35's are possible if installing the 3 in Rancho in conjuction with the 3 in body lift. I can't do to much of a search, considering government computer has headaches just trying to start the internet. any insight would be awesome, thanks.

Message: i can tell u something about ur #2. i talked to a guy that had a durango and he said he had a 3in. rancho suspension lift with a 3in. body lift but he was mad b/c he said he couldnt fit 35's so he just had 33's. now i think they can be fitted but they for sure will be scraping. but his durango looked pretty good with his 33's on it so i dont know it's up to you. i am personally going to put a 6.5 inch suspension lift on my dakota this summer with 35's but i will prolly have to put on a 2 or 3 inch body to make sure they dont scrape cuz i am constantly in the mud so i dont want any problems at all.

Message: 99Dak,
thanks for the insight. I'm wondering if possibly the Durango's weight had something to do with it?? Torsion bars cranked an inch might help too.

Message: I am running 35x12.50/17 BFG AT/KO's(actual size: 34.5x12.3x17) on 17x8 rims with 5" backspacing with no rubbing anywhere. On hard flex with the wheels turned to full lock it rubs slightly on the end caps of my full-length Manik Nerfs. I have no rubbing in the fenderwell or front bumper.
True 35's like Xterrains or Super Swampers are not likely to fit without some trimming to rear of fenderwell liner and possibly fender itself.
Flowmaster cat back, Volant Intake, Poweraid TB Spacer, Splitfire Plugs, full synthetic fluids 4 inch Rancho/3 inch body Lift, 315 70-17 on AE 219's, Rancho 9000x's Grizzly double/single rollbar with (6)Hella's, Manik Nerfs/Tailight Guards, Line-X, Hard Work & $$$$$$$$$$

Message: I see you got your answer. on #2.
Lift is holding solid so far! I have been out allot since I have put it on. Not sure how many others with it put it to the use like I do but it takes allot of flex action and takes it great.
Here is a photo. If you plan on 35"s and want to flex off road, I think you need more lift.
If I can stuff a 33" up like this, even with 3 more " I think you are gonna be rubbin'. Look at the rear tires at full flex. Do you think 3"s of body lift will allow the 35 to clear?

Last thing please note 2thextrm's rims. I would stay with 4-5 " of Backspacing. I am on stock rims at 5.5" of bs and my 10.5 wide tires are close to rubbing on the upper ball joint.
Hope that helps.
Chris

Message: Hey guys,
Appreciate all the input. All your trucks look awesome, thanks again for everything. Now to get back to N.C so I can actually see my truck. Ha..
Thinking I should stay with the 33x12.5 X-terrains, using the combination of both lifts.

Message: About tire size I have a 98 Durango with a 3" body lift. After doing minor fender trimming(about 1") I was able to fit 35x12.50x15 Goodyear Wrangler MTR's on the stock wheels. So if you go up an additional 3" suspension and keep close to the factory backspaceing on the wheels you will be able to clear the 35". Any questions email me at ultimateoffroad1@aol.com This is my shops email and either me or the other owner will help you with any questions.
