 Subject: tranny problem

Went four wheelin last night with my friend in his
1997 ford expedition 5.4L. Went through many deep
puddles, and some shallow mud. now the
transmission will not shift past 2nd gear and when
you let off the gas, it seems as if there is no
compression. The engine runs fine, there are no
check engine lights. The fluid is feash and red,
not milky ( no water). Any hel

I would get under the truck and look on the transmission for any connectors that became unplugged and or broken in the process. It would suck to have to take the truck in just for them to plug something back in. Hope this helps.
