Message: what would be better/cheaper: 3.92LSD from a wrecking yard +front. Or, 4.11's put in from a shop. Plus adding a LSD. I have 3.55's(open)now and run 33's. A little doggie on the freeway now with O/D.

Message: I'm sure the wrecking yard would be cheaper but I would strongly advise against just pulling the gear to put in your truck. Do the whole pumpkin. I've had several friends try and re-install old gears only to have MAJOR headaches.
4.10's with an Auburn Suregrip is gonna run me about $1750 installed.

Message: thats what I thought, I just didn't know how much better the 4.10's would be over the 3.92's.
the 3.55's and 33's are a bit doggie. on the freeway and going through a mud pit- it started bogging down even locked in first. 4H not 4L
need a supercharger...

Message: Dude, I would do the 4.10's, skip the 3.92's, esp with 33's. The gears cost the same so it doesn't matter. I want to do it, just need the $$$. 4.10's will make a world of difference, and the Aubrurn Suregrip is awsome.
