Message: Dont buy Tuff County lifts for durangos.. They are crap.. The first time you hit the brakes going down the hwy you will bend and brake the lift brackets... Tuff County is unwilling to replace anything even tho it was bought with a LIMITED life time warenty.. I can only see one right way to correct this problem on my 99 5.9L SLT. That will be to put a dana 60 solid axel up front...

Message: I have a 2000 Dodge Durango 5.9L R/T And Is it possible to put the 5 1/2 Rancho lift And a 3 inch body on it. I want to try to get 6 inches or a little more. I Was told you can only do the Rancho 3 inch and a 3 inch body lift on this year. What would be the best option to get 6 to maybe 8 inches if at all possible.
Thanks,
Craig

Message: Hi all I have a 98 Durango and Tuff country lifts are the way to go I put mine in 3 years ago and have never had a problem with it I personaly have done a lot of highway driving plus off road with mine and have never bent brackits nor busted any thing though the IFS on the durangos and dakotas are not ment to be heavy duty 4x4s in the first place great for mudding but if you want to get ruff with it then get a jeep or an old truck if ya want to see the truck will email you a picture so if you want to get it up in the air put in a TC lift

Message: I was wondering how to get a 33/10.5/15 on my durango with minimal lifting. I went and had some fitted on my stock 2000 durango, and there would be a prety good amount of triming. which I'm not afraid of a good hack job. I want it to drive down the road with out rubbing.

Message: keep in mind a dakota or durango 4x4 from the factory has a 3" body lift, (from the factory you could get) getting larg lift out of a ifs truck for 33" or bigger wheels u need a brake up grade and then the rack an pinion steering will brake down (stearing gear) plus keep in mind your shock in front is held on with 1 bolt it will sheer off all of these have happend to me with out a lift and medium off roading, best is a front solid axil swap that is the only good way to lift is safly and make it strong enuf for hard core off roading metal fabing skills is a must dosent look to hard to me to do just time consuming and costly, but im starting to think it may be worth it all modern trucks are ifs
what the hell are the truck makers thinking doing this to 4x4's
