I have a 97 Dakota sport extended cab, 318, automatic tranny, homemade cold air system, tornado air peice, 4x4, 3" bodylift, 3.92 rearend, and 31x10.5x15 all-terrain tires. Yall that have a similar dakota, if you would let me know what miles per gallon your getting. I'm getting about 11 mpg in town, is this accurate? Thanks

Yeah i've got a '99 4x4 club cab with the 318 5.2l, k&n air intake, gibson dual exhaust and i still get like 12-13 mpg. The damn engine is so freakin' thirsty!!! I even had a cover on the bed, otherwise i would probably be down at 11 with you.

have a 92 318 v8 right now it rides on 31" tires i had my spare in the roof rack on my canopy. was getting like 10 mpg took the tires off now i get some where around 12 mpg. buy june she will be riding on 35" tires with 4:11 gears in it. it will scary to see what my mpg will be than.
