Subject: Polyurethane Bushings Question IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000, 2wd, 4.7, SLT DAK with handling pkg. I want to install a set of Energy front sway bar bushings. But, they list 2 sizes for the DAK - a 28mm and a 30mm.
Does anyone out there know what came standard on this vehicle? Anyone familiar with this upgrade - is it worthwhile?
Thanks,
MD

Message: I was wondering nearly the same thing for my 01 4x4 if anyone has found ANY poly bushings that fit. I would really like a full poly replacement kit(body, sway, ifs, etc.) but that may happen in ten years:)

Message: I redid the entire suspension front and rear with PST graphite impregnated poly bushings on my El Camino and now they are squeaking badly on cold mornings going over traffic calming humps and the like. They did improve handling but ride a little more harshly. It was also a miserable 2 week job in the street if front of the house.
