For anyone that is interested in the SFA swap into a Dakota the Dana 44R is a high pinion axle with the pig on the drivers side. The high pinion helps with front driveline angles. For sale is the case only with carrier and 3.55 gears. Use any dana 44 knuckles, hubs, etc. Axle has had all brackets cut off and smoothed, ready for your own custom install. I have three of these laying around so I need to sell or trade one. Make me an offer or trade, I'm not sure what I would trade for but I have been looking into a 360 motor for partial trade or something along that line...

Is it a front or rear axle? What did it come out of? I'm looking for some D44's to put on a jeep and mak it my off-roader.
