I had to correct one thing about the Taco. My buddy has a 2001 Taco w/ v6 & ext cab. We towed 1 crotch rocket, 1 Harley Dyna Wide-Glide, and 1 Harley Road King with that thing using the truck bed and a trailer and we had 3 people riding in it. We went from Chicago to Miami. No problem towing at all, even through mountains. It was a piece of cake. The back is cramped for someone sitting back there, but it's do-able (just not enjoyable!)

I liked his truck so much, I'm picking up one myself. If it couldn't tow, I wouldn't buy it. Also, no reviews I've read say anything but positive things about it's towing ability.

Take it easy...

Try towing a 21' camper loaded for a week with the family. You will change your tune.

While a couple bikes is something..its not alot. But its good to hear the taco COULD tow 2 bikes. Besides why take a v6 Tacoma when you could have a v8 Dakota??!

A quad-cab Dak has more rear seat head-room than a Dodge Intrepid.
