Message: Nope. The offroad package is nothing special. Its about an 1.5" taller, towhooks, 4.10 gears, and 17" wheels. You could do all that stuff yourself and save money. But the 4.10 gears are only on the older Rams. The 2002 and up are in the same boat as the 2000+ Daks, the biggest gear ratio is 3.92.

Message: Well that sucks! Even Ford offers a better off road deal. I think the older modle truck had the best because of the solid fron axel. Never bogged down. Looks like to me that Dodge would offer a optional antislip rear end on there off-roads.
