Message: I think I'am going with the swamper ssr. Will a 31-12.50r-16 fit on the stock 16 dodge rims? Do you think they will rub at all? Sorry for all the tire questions, I usually fool with engines and audio stuff.

Message: I was wondering this myself. I'm not opposed to a little trimming if necessary. I can tell you, I'm running 31x11.5x16 Swamper LTBs. They sound and look awesome with no rubbing lock to lock. Even during mild off-roading and under hard turns still no rubbing. I'm running them on the stock 16x8 rims. I think the 12.5s will probably work if they can be mounted on the 16x8 rims. I don't know of anyone that has tried that one yet. They may rub a little on the inner side on the frame forcing you to take a little wider turns. With a mild torsion bar levelling and a little trimming this may work. Let us know if you try, because I may go the same route.

Message: I want to know for shure that the 31-12.5 will work on the 16x8 rim before I spend the money.I might go with the 265-70r-16. What do you think of the LTB? They are dirt cheap whick is always good, but I want radials. Dude the Raiders just blocked a punt and scored, gotta go.

Message: There are a bunch of people here running 305-70s on the stock 16in. wheels , they are the same as a 33X12.50-16 , so I can`t see any reason a 31X12.50 wouldn`t fit. I think you would have a harder time getting it to not rub the truck anywhere ,without a lift , than fitting them on the rims.
