Message: I had them on my '99 5.2 4x4 and they fit fine. I did have to do a bit of trimming to take care of rubbing when going over a bump around a semi-sharp corner. Other than that, they fit great, and looked great too!
Now, I've got 285/75/16's so they're actually pretty similar. I also have pics of these tires before I lifted my truck if you want to see.
You can see pics here:

Message: I only had to trim for the front tires. A bit was trimmed off the back of the wheel well (an inch or two) and there's a corner in front of the wheel that I had to trim off (you should see if you look at it). It was nothing big though.

Message: You only had to trim inside the wheel well though right nothing like outside the well like the fenders or anything like that and did you have your t-bars tightened at all? Thanks for all the help by the way

Message: I didn't have to do any trimming that was really "noticable" unless you were specifically looking for it. As for the torsion bars, I did crank them a bit, but nothing major.
And hey, everyone helped me out, so I figure I should pass on the gesture :)

Message: They are 16x8 American Racing Nitros. I think it's a good size rim for a 4x4 truck.

Message: No sorry, I guess I didn't explain this all.
I had 33x10.5x15's on my stock rims (15x8) before
the lift.
I got the new rims and tires - 16x8 rims and 265/75/16 tires - and the body lift all at the same time.

Message: I have 33x10.5 TSL Thornbirds, on a 97 4x4 Dakota I would suggest that you put on a 3in body lift first if you plan to ride even mild trails, you wouldn't want to tear up them new tires, or have to cut your inner fenders

Message: So like i would get some minor rubbing regardless if i trimmed or not. See i plan to run these like mainly on the street but like maybe every other month or so i like to do a little wheeling, nothing too big though. So would I be safer just to run 32's and not really worry bout rubbing at all

Message: Yeah, that sounds like a better idea. Some people have problems with 33's on a stock dak., but 32's fit perfect for everyone w/out a lift.
