Message: Just buy a bunch of hockey pucks and drill some holes in them. Works just like a regular body lift.

Message: Performance Accessories seems to be the more popular. The other brand is Trailmaster. Not too much work involved for the mechanically inclined. The 2" is easier with less involved (ie: radiator fan, brake lines, etc.) I'm not saying to not do the 3". It just requires more work. There are plenty of folks using this site that have opted for the 3". I personnaly combined the 2" with the 4" Trailmaster suspesion lift. Mine can be seen on the glassworks unlimited website. I installed their 1st set of fiberglass fenders. Some searches (I know, time consuming)on this site can produce some good info.
Hope this helps.

Message: On the Gen 2 trucks, a 3" body lift will require some modifications to the cooling fan if it's a V8 truck because the stock fan won't clear the lower radiator hose. Most people swap over to an electric fan on that application. Performance Accessories seems to be the brand of choice around here. They include brackets to relocate the front bumper, Trailmaster only gives you a template to re-drill the existing brackets. I don't recall if PA offers brackets for the rear bumper but for some reason I want to say they do.
