 Subject: difference between radial and polyester?

what the difference between polyester tires new superswamper sts in 33 is only polyester. I assume the ltb is poyestor as well. and a radial tire? is it belting.
I've always heard a radial tire lasts longer than a non radial but is there any other differences and is this true?
all help appreiciated.

You will not like a non-radial tire if you drive on the street. The ride is lousy and they are very noisy. They are only good for trucks that never see the street.

Try to drive your truck with Radial's down the highway after sitting all night, the flat spots will rattle the teeth outta your head and thump until they warm-up and go back into shape. Non-Radial's are not very popular anymore, I believe they are cheaper to make and were used more offroad than radials, but nowadays, many radials offer better puncture resistance and almost as good sidewall flex(big advantage for non-radial's).
