Subject: Is it a Clear Creek Saturday? IP: Logged
Message: Hey Craig DJ,
I think conditions are Prime for a Clear Creek run. I got approval to go tomorrow, Golf on Sunday so I can't go that day.
I would like to leave early if possible.
Anyone in?
Chris

Message: The dirt is sandy like Hollister where it can be raining and the ground is still tacky. My plans to go to the Observred Trails at the Cow Palace in SF fell through. I now have the day open but Sheryl has a hair appointment, all day, girls!
I will let you know by the end of the day or sooner.

Message: Actually, I'm going to Pismo this weekend (no sand dunes though). My plan was to leave early Saturday morning, so I might be able to make a quick detour -- maybe an hour or two. Where exactly is this place? Is it real far off of 101?

Message: I am wondering the same. According to the map it is between 101 and I-5. I think they said you can take Hwy 25 to get there. I am thinking of cutting over at King City if Possible. I know there is a exit for the Pinnicales and I would imagine you can get there from that way.
Craig,
Can you get me some directions or a address or something? Or shed some light here for us.

Message: That's kind of what I thought. It seems like you can take Bitterwater road from King City up to HWY 25, then hang a right on Coalinga Road. I can't really tell how far it is though.

Message: Wow that sure helped.
I see it on my work Atlas. I am gonna map it out on my GPs map and upload it so I can find it.
Elevation 4500 ft, Wow! Now I see why there may be snow. 270 miles of trials!
It looks like to get there Hwy 25 is the way but if you are gonna head to SLO from there then there are a few options it looks like.
When do you need to be in SLO?
I want to leave at like 6AM or so depending on how long it takes to get there.
What do you think?
You know what really going on!~!

Message: Craig, DJ,
I have the video from Clear Creek up on my site already. I will add pictures later.
Just wanted to say it was a great time as always even though I had the Double flat's. Great video Craig! Check out my site for details.
I think I am gonna put on my 31" Yokohama MT's for Hollister (I know they suck). I think I will take a stab at a few more difficult trails where articulation is key, I will be able to stuff them and hit some hills with more power. I may make truck hill! If so I will stop talkin crap about the Yoko's.
Great time buds!
Chris
