I just don't get it why the companies that make the lift kits will make kits for pre97 2x4 dakotas, but not the pre 97 4x4 dakotas. 1 lift for a 4x4, and too many lifts for a 2x4. Companies must be goin for the look factor, just shows you, it's the money that counts

Man, i don't think truer words have ever been spoken, there just aren't enough accessories for us Gen II guys

It’s that much worse for us Gen I guys. There’s nothing. Most of the accessories on my ’88 are for another year or for a different brand all together. My grill guard is from a Range Rover, the tail light guards are from a Ford Ranger. Hood scoop from something else. Suspension lift is for a 91-95 Dakota. Etc… I had to get creative to get the truck to where it is now.
