Subject: ???body lift worries?? IP: Logged
Message: i have a 97 2wd and i really want to run 32's. i have 2in coil spacers and going to install add-a-leafs to pick the rear up level with the front(the spacers were more the 2in). i want to install a 3in PA body lift, but i have heard some bad feed back about them. the bad stuff i have heard has been on 4wd with steering and shifters. is the 2wd exempt of the major problems. my truck is an auto so i dont have any shifters. what about steering and the steel break lines; those are my biggest worries. any help would be great.

Message: i am in the midst of installing a PA body lift. I have a manual 2wd 98 and its taking some work but its not bad. i should get it finished tomarrow. But if you read on this post they say you can't lift your car more than 3 inches or it messes up your rack and pinion steering. (rack and pionion is only on the 2wd) you can either get a new axel or screw up your steering. someone correct me if im wrong but thats what ivce concluded researchin this site for the 2wd.
