Just installed new rancho rsx shocks up front and I must say it was the single best add on (dollar for dollar) I have ever done!
After I cranked my torsion bars about 1.5 inches the ride was pretty rough with stock shocks due to a stiffer spring action. I can set these shocks soft enough to compensate for the increased spring load. I have mine set at 4 (out of possible 9) and it is stiff without jarring when I hit bumps! setting 1=lincoln town car, setting 9= sherman tank! and everything in between.
