It was a great day for the Dunes. We meet up with Sean at the main gate at 9. Sweet Blue 2 tone 3" suspension and 3 " body lift, Looks Awesome Sean! Glad you made it and we got to meet you! Missed you after the 1PM meet though. I hope you had a great time.

Craig, Kevin, and the Z71 Chicks, hooked up with me at the 156 /101 junction right on time, no need to pull off and wait. New it was gonna be a great day from there.

We met Chris in his 2wd 98 lifted Dakota. Very nice! To bad you could not make it out for the big group photo we did on the dunes. We attempted to get Chris on the dunes but the 2wd just would not co-operate. Sorry Bud!

I have only video which I willpost this week on the web site. Craig shuld have a bunch of good photo's. Maybe he'll get them posted.

Arthur finally shows after a long night af partying. Once again he get the Fearless award!
Dude must have caught 3-4 foot of Air off the dunes.

Kevin get the Awesome video award for getting it on Video. Kevin I need that video in AVI format if you could hook me up!

Craig again gets the most stuck award! We powered up the winch to provide its most pulling power yet. But the Bumper and the winch came out on top as Craig slowly was extracted from a down hill burried lie with nothing but fence at the bottom. Nice driving Sheryl!

We hooked up with some of the central coast Off Road world . net group to make our group up to about 15- 20 of us. In our big group photo 4 guys could not make it to the photo spot. What a great time!

The sunset was Awesome and ended the day with perfect mix of colors as it dropped into the ocean!

I will get some great video posted this week.

Thanks to all the guys for showing up and I hope you all had a great time! We had a total of 6 dakota's that made it.

Sheryl and I had a great time at pismo. We had even more fun laughing at all of the stupid people riding around. There were thousands of people there and we say on person get a ride to the Hospital in a Hellicopter. I posted some pictures under pismo here -> http://www.offroadworld.net/mygallery.asp?id=3474&album=6875

I asked for the Warn and they sold me a Genuine Steel at my local 4 x 4 shop. 10,000lb rating and we used most of that at Pismo. It works great, and looks good!

Ya it was a fun day with a sleepy sunrise to beautiful sunset on Pismo beach. With the dogs in the back, and the American flag-flying overhead, on a perfect sunny warm day. We wheeled the small dunes and were looking for the harder stuff. From one dune to the next, before we knew it we came to the perimeter of the dunes according to the fence. We decided to have a little fun. Chris was the first to descend the steep dune that ran parallel to the fence and we followed. He made it out of the hole with no problem. Craig tried the same route but got stuck. He than backed up along the fence and attempted a different route and got stuck against the bob wire fence. It was so bad that he wanted to get out and take pictures. I just didn't want to get out! After a failure to tow rope tug backwards, they decided to winch Craig out with Chris’s Hanson front bumper. I noticed that Craig was not getting in the drivers seat so I decided to hop on over and take charge of the wheel and get us all out of this sticky situation. The funniest thing to me was that when somebody gets stuck there is always a crowd there to watch. Well of course a guy on a quad pulls up and says, “What is she doing in the drivers seat anyways? “ My answer to that is, “fixing the problem at hand!!!!”
I am looking forward to the next trip it’s always worth getting up early for!!

Dude, i had so much fun!

I had NO idea i was gonna get that much air going over that dune, even scared the $hit out of me! Totally need that video to show my friends! One of these days I'm gonna not party the nite before wheeling so i can actually get up on time and be there. Still tons of fun, can't wait till next trip.

I think the only 2 awards missed were the the most improved wheeler and the most fun to watch try.

Most Improved Award goes to the chicks in the silverado, once they got those tires aired down and learned to just punch it, they were flyin over dunes.

Most Fun to Watch goes to the guy(forgot name) in the F150 2WD that rode with me for the jump. Mad props for making it out that far in a stock 2WD ford mid-size!

See ya guys soon! Need that video too THRASH1!!

I am working on so many video projects that they are all half finished. I will hook you up Chris.

Arthur is right, The Z71 Chicks after wheelin all day at 25 psi. we got them down to 15 and they really started to have fun.

And Yes Steven in the 2wd Ford I was amazed at how far he got around and I thought for sure we would have to pull him from the photo site.
All I told him was to stay on the gas and to not let off or he will lose his momentum and be stuck. Boy did he listen!

Great write up Sheryl!

I will get video posted soon. I am working on a major work project for documentary purposes on a major contract we just landed. It is very cool.

I posted some pictures on my yahoo photos under photos.yahoo.com/ridemoreworkless or cut and past this link to open the pismo 2 page.

http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/ridemoreworkless/lst?.dir=/Pismo+2&.src=ph&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/

I like the one showing 3 daks on 33's with differnet amounts of lift. Sean had a Rancho 3" (for sale) plus a 3" body lift and 1" torsion bar lift. I have the 3" body lift and T-bars cranked. Chris only has the 1" T-bar lift and the Hanson bumper for clearnace. All in one shot, end to end and side by side. Kevins white dak also has the 3" BL and 1" t-bar lift.

Great shots.

Man I look pretty small up against you guys in the group me in the middle.

But in the other picture in a row due to the slight downslope we all look the same. Trick photography!
