I JUST BOUGHT A '99 DAKOTA 4X4 AND I NOTICED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE IS ABOUT HALF AN INCH LOWER THAN THE DRIVERS SIDE. ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT?

now where you able to measure this with you sitting in the truck??? because it is setup to have someone driving the truck, so with a driver's weight it is level

Maybe if the driver were Anna Nicole Smith, otherwise I'd say the torsion bars are unevenly adjusted. Your average 180-220 lb. driver will have no effect!

Crank up that passenger side torsion bar until its level.

Easy job..5 mins at the most.

I have the same problem with my qcab. exactly 1/2 inch lower. I cranked the torsion bars but the problem seems to rely on the chassis itself. no matter how much you crank, you will still have a 1/2 inch difference.
