Subject: front passenger side lower IP: Logged
Message: I JUST BOUGHT A '99 DAKOTA 4X4 AND I NOTICED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE IS ABOUT HALF AN INCH LOWER THAN THE DRIVERS SIDE. ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT?

Message: now where you able to measure this with you sitting in the truck??? because it is setup to have someone driving the truck, so with a driver's weight it is level

Message: Maybe if the driver were Anna Nicole Smith, otherwise I'd say the torsion bars are unevenly adjusted. Your average 180-220 lb. driver will have no effect!

Message: Crank up that passenger side torsion bar until its level.

Message: I have the same problem with my qcab. exactly 1/2 inch lower. I cranked the torsion bars but the problem seems to rely on the chassis itself. no matter how much you crank, you will still have a 1/2 inch difference.
