Subject: Just how dominating a dak is... IP: Logged
Message: I went out wheeling with a stock 4x4 jeep and ram. They were constantly warning me that i should have a tow strap cuz i don't have 4x4. Well, apparently, they were right about the tow strap, cuz THEY needed it..haha. We went out there in the rain, and it was like 2 inch thick mud. Deep stuff, with my 6 inch lift, 31 inch bfg mudders, and powertrax locker, i lead the pack. We made it through some deep sh@$ that would be impossible for a 4x2 to venture through. After playing aroudn on this big hill (that i couldn't get up on, but managed on one last try), we decided to head back. On the way back, there's this mudhole that's about 1 foot deep and has a mound in front of it that you have to crawl over to exit the trail, well, i made it over that without any speed or wheel spin, but slid into the embankment. I managed to get out of it after a few tries and lotta scratches from those darn trees. Next up: jeep. Jeep went very slow like me, but got stuck. hehe...all i could do was chuckle cuz they are now in my shoes that i once was in. ;) After many unsuccessful tries, i went home to get a cable to pull him out. The ram jerked out the jeep and we all got out in one piece. (of course, the ram had no problems, only slid downhill sideways, which was funny). So those who think 4x2's can't wheel, think again :)

Message: Oh by the way, i experienced my first baja-style off-roading. I was zipping along like 50 mph in all this mud, up this hill, and i swear i hit my head on the roof soo many times due to the stiff suspension. But overall, my truck made it out without any damage.

Message: Dude I'm with ya on the 4x2 thing. I always say its the drivers ability, not just the trucks capability! My trucks 4x2, and 4 cyl, and people are always saying to me you go off road in that, and after a few trips out in the mudd they have all changed their minds after seeing what I can do, in a 4cyl 2wd truck!

Message: Hows about $150? The tires are kinda worn but they do still have some tread on them, Bridgestone Dueler AT's 235/75R15's. The wheels are in good shape and only have a few scratches.
